Abstract:
When controlling a three-phase boost power factor correction (3P-PFC) converter with Semi-Bridgeless PFC diode using Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) or Space-Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) 3P-PFC control, inevitable diode current is induced and occur additional power loss and current, voltage ripple. This paper proposes a switching strategy based on common-mode voltage analysis to reduce diode current. The effectiveness of the proposed strategy is validated through simulation and experiment.
